1960's Inspired...

This garment was made during a past brief called Introduction to Fashion…
My idea concept for this garment was based around the 1960's fashion, music and designers of that era such as, Biba and Ossie Clark. I really enjoyed manufacturing this garment and designing it, there were lots of improvements to be made with finishing areas off such as the retaining rows on the arm holes and around the neck. Despite the areas needed for improvement I was very pleased that I manufactured and patterned a garment without much support from my tutor as that is a weak point of mine as a designer.

I Couldn't Say NO!

So as we now know I can't help but to treat myself to Kurt Geiger the bane of my bank account…
I came across this beautiful pair of Carvela and just couldn't walk out of the store until they were mine, they have to be the most comfortable pair of heels  I own and I own a large amount…
I knew it was meant to be as they were the last pair in my size (5) my poor bank account didn't appreciate this purchase.

The Everyday Shoes...

As I work in Matalan I always spend my wages the day I get paid…
As a member of staff I always get first dibs on the clothing and shoes :) I came across the coral/orange flats which I initially bought for my holidays but wear very frequently and then came across these cut out block heel boots. I bought the heels for a night out and find myself wearing them on every night out as the trusty comfort shoes.

Fashion Targeting Breast Cancer

I strolled into office accidentally on purpose…
I came across these pretty pink pumps and it was love at first sight ! The pretty pink pumps are sold in aid of breast cancer research and they gave % of the sale towards the charity. I am planning to wear these pink pumps to run the Race For Life event in June I am running Race For Life in honour of my Auntie and Nanna.
