1960's Inspired...

This garment was made during a past brief called Introduction to Fashion…
My idea concept for this garment was based around the 1960's fashion, music and designers of that era such as, Biba and Ossie Clark. I really enjoyed manufacturing this garment and designing it, there were lots of improvements to be made with finishing areas off such as the retaining rows on the arm holes and around the neck. Despite the areas needed for improvement I was very pleased that I manufactured and patterned a garment without much support from my tutor as that is a weak point of mine as a designer.

I Couldn't Say NO!

So as we now know I can't help but to treat myself to Kurt Geiger the bane of my bank account…
I came across this beautiful pair of Carvela and just couldn't walk out of the store until they were mine, they have to be the most comfortable pair of heels  I own and I own a large amount…
I knew it was meant to be as they were the last pair in my size (5) my poor bank account didn't appreciate this purchase.

The Everyday Shoes...

As I work in Matalan I always spend my wages the day I get paid…
As a member of staff I always get first dibs on the clothing and shoes :) I came across the coral/orange flats which I initially bought for my holidays but wear very frequently and then came across these cut out block heel boots. I bought the heels for a night out and find myself wearing them on every night out as the trusty comfort shoes.

Fashion Targeting Breast Cancer

I strolled into office accidentally on purpose…
I came across these pretty pink pumps and it was love at first sight ! The pretty pink pumps are sold in aid of breast cancer research and they gave % of the sale towards the charity. I am planning to wear these pink pumps to run the Race For Life event in June I am running Race For Life in honour of my Auntie and Nanna.

New Boots...

My new boots have finally arrived from Boohoo.com ! I first spotted these boots on the most recent Boohoo advert and just knew from the moment I laid my eyes on them that they had to be mine. They are very comfortable to wear and go with most of my outfits. These shoes are very daring for me as I usually wear just black heeled boots but I couldn't resist these ones ! They were only £25 and I even managed to get free postage which made this purchase even more exciting. I wear them most days.

£1 Dress

This dress was hidden amongst a mountain of navy blue jumpers, but me being a rummager managed to find it ! It was from the red cross charity shop and it cost me just £1.00 there were know faults with the dress and it was brand new it was sized S/M and fits just night ! I tested it out on a night out in Liverpool and will defiantly be wearing it on more nights out as it is so comfortable to wear, it hangs nice so when you get bloated from eating and drinking to much you can't tell so you don't have to breath in and it is long enough to dance in. It is now one of my favourite items of clothing.

Miracle Buy...

These our my favourite shoes, I came across these in the Kurt Geiger sale they were reduced from £90.00 to £25.00 I couldn't believe it ! I wear them with everything they are so comfy to wear and do go with pretty much all my outfits. They were a miracle find and I felt as though Christmas had come early ! Kurt Geiger has become an obsession I make sure I buy a pair every couple of months usually from the sale.

Poker Dots...

I came across this poker dot shirt on one of my shifts at work, I had my eye on it for a while ! Behind the tills at work was a poker dot shirt in a children's age 14 years and I went to try it on and it was the perfect fit, there was a fault in the shirt a little hole under the arm, so they reduced the shirt from £10.00 to £1.00. I was able to sew the hole under the arm and bagged myself yet another bargain to add to my ever growing collection.

To my surprise the dress was in a size 8 and was the grand total of £3.00 I could not resist this purchase. The dress is originally from ASOS, I was absolutely made up with my new purchase and now I wear it all the time.

Weight Loss...

For the past few months I have been aiming to lose some weight. In the past 5 months I have lost up to 2 stone, this was down to cutting out fatty foods and walking the dogs everyday and some stress involved to ! I went from a size 12 down to an 8. I was so happy with what I had achieved and then realised I had know clothes which fit me any more, this dress below was my first size 8 dress I had bought and it felt good :) !!
